I did notice that auto attacking slowed me down. I didnt know about the canceling spells button. I try and cast abilities instantly and it often doesnt work. There also is a keybind for canceling your current cast which is very important for faking out your opponents, stopping your current cast if the situation changed and you need to cast something else quick and avoiding wasting your currently casting ability on an opponent that has initiated a counter ability. Oh and jeah if you didn't notice already, with some exceptions auto attacking (left mouse button) slows down your movement speed while you attack. Outside of that everything gets started casting instantly as soon as you press the button if you don't have another ability queued up. I am not sure if something is completly wrong with your game or you don't know about cast time in BR yet, if it's the last one then let me explain, everything in BR has a cast time, to be fair the lowest one is 0.1s so you hardly notice those but that's only for very specific abilities like most of the defensive ones that are ment for countering other abilities.Įverything else has a noticible cast time, when you press an ability there is a thin bar beneath your health bar that visualizes how how much time the cast needs to finish.
